Schroders has added a US equity strategy to its growing active exchange-traded fund (ETF) platform, launching Schroder US Equity Active UCITS ETF as the range passes $2.8bn in assets.

Listed from today on Xetra and Borsa Italiana, the ETF targets capital growth and income above the S&P 500 index over three to five years. It will also list on the London Stock Exchange and SIX Swiss Exchange in the coming weeks.

Tom Stephens, head of ETFs at Schroders, said: “The launch of the Schroder US Equity Active UCITS ETF broadens our core equity offering, combining our active management expertise with the flexibility, transparency and accessibility clients increasingly expect from ETFs.”

It has adopted the QEP US Core approach run by manager Lukas Kamblevicius, co-head of Schroders’ quantitative equity products team, which has attracted $2bn of net new assets year-to-date.

“The US equity market presents a broad and dynamic opportunity set, where a systematic and disciplined investment approach can help identify consistent sources of returns,” Kamblevicius said.

“This strategy is designed to deliver a diversified exposure to US equities, with a focus on achieving attractive outcomes for clients over the long term.”

The US-focused ETF follows Schroders’ first European launches in September 2025 and an ESG-customised strategy introduced in January.
