At 1330 the Department of Commerce will report on personal income and spending in the month of September.
Contained in that same report are the price deflators for personal consumption expenditures, the Federal Reserve's target inflation measure.
Consensus is for a dip in the year-on-year rate of increase of one tenth of a percentage point to 3.4%.
The report will be followed at 1500 BST by the results of the University of Michigan's consumer confidence survey for October which contains subindices for inflation expectations.
Earlier, at 0900 BST, the European Central Bank will release the results of its survey of professional forecasters.
Overnight, investors in Asia will be perusing the latest core consumer price data for Tokyo in October.
In the corporate space, NatWest Group was scheduled to post its third quarter financials.
During the previous quarter, the lender was forced to cut its full-year forecast for net interest margins from 3.2% to 3.15% and might now well be reduced further, said Michael Hewson, chief market analyst at CMC Markets UK.
Net loan growth may also be set for a further slowdown, he added.
