At Melrose Industries, non-executive director Ian Barkshire purchased 17,000 shares at 442p each on 21 October.

The transaction marked his first acquisition of shares in the company, giving him a 0.0013% stake in its issued share capital, excluding treasury shares.

Melrose said the purchase was conducted on the open market in London.

At the Property Franchise Group, executive director Michelle Brook sold 150,000 shares at 415p apiece, also on 21 October.

The sale reduced her beneficial holding to 241,716 shares.

Like Barkshire’s purchase, Brook’s transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange.
