Director dealings: Watkin Jones chairman raises stake

Watkin Jones revealed on Monday that chairman Alan Giddins had acquired 148,000 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed residential property management firm.

Giddins, who was appointed to the board of Watkin Jones in July 2021, purchased the shares on Friday at an average price of 26.63p each, for a total value of £39,412.40.

Following the transaction, Giddins now holds a beneficial interest in 1.02m ordinary Watkin Jones shares, representing approximately 0.4% of the company's issued share capital.

As of 1630 GMT, Watkin Jones shares were up 8.90% at 31.80p.
