The AIM-traded firm said the deal, secured through its Latin America and Iberian Peninsula partner EcoZenova Internacional, was another step in its international growth strategy.

It said the order included Zenova’s FX6L and FX9L fire extinguishers, as well as its IP and FP fire-resistant paints and primers.

The company said it saw the deal and order as a strong endorsement of its product range and its technical advantages for early adopters in new markets.

EcoZenova had been actively showcasing Zenova’s solutions across Latin America and Iberia, helping to drive adoption in key regions.

The firm said it was continuing to target expansion opportunities as demand for advanced fire suppression and temperature management technologies grew globally.

“Our first order of consequence in the Spanish market marks the beginning of what the management team at Zenova expects to be a particularly productive period across mainland Europe as tougher product specifications and tightening environmental regulations increasingly prevail,” said chief executive officer Thomas Melchior.

“We're particularly grateful to our local partner, EcoZenova Intl, for their successful hard work and commitment to the great potential of our product suite that is helping us enter new markets.”

At 1118 GMT, shares in Zenova Group were down 0.95% at 0.52p.
