The AIM-traded firm said the shares were transferred at a price of 31.25p per share, valuing the transaction at £109,375.
Following the transactions, Smith continued to have a beneficial interest in 17,830,000 shares, representing 9.92% of its issued share capital.
On the selling side of the ledger, Lok’nStore Group said non-executive director Richard Holmes had sold 4,000 shares.
The self-storage operator said Holmes had sold the shares at a price of 1,030p each, making the sale worth £41,200.
As a result of the sale, Holmes' beneficial interest in the company was now 303,606 shares, representing 1.01% of its total voting rights.
